As the Founder and Chairman of Bonotel, David Sporn has been the driving force behind the company's growth since its inception in 1990.
Prior to his move to Las Vegas, NV and the establishment of Bonotel Exclusive Travel, Mr. Sporn opened and co-owned the Marienburger Bonotel Hotel in Cologne, Germany and went on to open and manage some of Cologne's more popular hotel and restaurant franchises. It was during this 20 plus-year span prior to founding Bonotel that Mr. Sporn cut his teeth and cemented his status as a vanguard of the luxury hospitality industry.
Sporn received his degree in Hospitality in 1972.
Faisal Sublaban has been with Bonotel Exclusive Travel since 2011 serving in several senior roles, most recently as CEO since January 2016.
Before joining Bonotel, Mr. Sublaban worked in Acquisitions and Private Placements at Lansing Companies/Brooklyn Troy, specializing in real estate acquisitions for master plan developers and alternative energy companies.
Mr. Sublaban was a Principal at La Jolla Wealth Management from 2006 to 2009. The company provided real estate and mortgage financing options for clients of all real estate types.
From 2003 to 2005, Sublaban served as a Regional Manager at Wells Fargo Financial.
Sublaban earned a degree in Management Science, Finance/Economics from University of California, San Diego, where he graduated in 2003. He received a Master in Finance from Harvard University in 2011.
Brandon M. Weaver joined Bonotel Exclusive Travel as Chief Operating Officer in September 2014.
Prior to joining Bonotel, Mr. Weaver was the Marketing Manager for Reserve Spirits in South Africa for Diageo Plc. Prior to working at Diageo he spent time at LVMH leading strategy initiatives for Dom Perignon and Krug Champagne. Prior to his time working in the spirits industry Mr. Weaver spent considerable time in consumer finance space working for Vantium Capital, a subsidiary of Apollo Management LP, General Electric as well as UBS' Private Client Group.
Mr. Weaver is a graduate of the University of Southern California (B.S., Business Administration & B.A Communication Studies), and holds an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management as well as a Master's in Public Administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.
Marlo Vandemore joined Bonotel Exclusive Travel as Chief Financial Officer in May 2014.
Previously, Ms. Vandemore served as the Chief Financial Officer of Bref Hr, LLC and Bref HR Management LLC. Vandemore has over 15 years of financial experience, working with companies such as the Los Angeles Dodgers, Navigant Consulting, FTI Consulting, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Ms. Vandemore began her career at Coopers & Lybrand (currently PricewaterhouseCoopers) as an auditor, working with both public and private clients in a variety of industries. Vandemore then transitioned into the consulting arm of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she managed engagements ranging from business valuations and M&A related disputes to insurance recovery related issues.
A certified public accountant, Ms. Vandemore holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Southern California.
Scot Hastings joined Bonotel Exclusive Travel as Chief Information Officer in June 2015. Prior to joining the team full-time, Mr. Hastings worked with Bonotel on a number of projects as an IT Consultant over a period of two years.
With almost 18 years of experience in technology, Mr. Hastings has worked in a wide variety of disciplines including low-level embedded hardware and software, cellular infrastructure, multimedia, web and mobile applications, and enterprise IT. While he began his career as a developer, he has spent the majority of his time architecting solutions to complex problems as well as overseeing their development via combinations of in-house and offshore teams. This breadth of experience enables Mr. Hastings to easily leverage solutions and methodologies across different disciplines.
Prior to working with Bonotel, Mr. Hastings was the Lead Architect for Andaman Systems (dba MigoTV), a small, Taipei-based startup dedicated to bringing television and other media to mobile devices in the developing world.
Prior to Andaman, Mr. Hastings spent 7 years at Qualcomm in San Diego, working on several strategic projects including ultra-low cost cellphones and Qualcomm's innovative MediaFLO project.
